We Are SC!

U.S.D. 466 educates just under 1,000 students PreK through12th grade. Scott City Elementary School serves PreK through 2nd grade students. Class sizes average under 20 students per classroom. Scott City Middle School serves 3rd through 8th grades. Grades 3 through 5 are organized in the traditional elementary setting and grades 6 through 8 have multiple teachers with a variety of elective classes during the day. Multiple activities and athletics are offered to 7th and 8th grade students as extracurricular. Scott Community High School serves students in 9th through 12th grades and is mostly classified as a 3A high school for KSHSAA competition. High school students have a variety of options academically and with extra-curricular activities. Our students traditionally compete and perform well at the highest levels in the state.

District facilities are updated, safe, and well-maintained to serve our students. During the day our students experience an incredible learning environment including:

  • Ample learning space
  • Dedicated staff
  • Access to engaging libraries
  • Comfortable learning locations to meet specific needs
  • Assurance of safety with building entries and grounds

In extra-curriculars our students have access to some of the best facilities in our state, including:

  • Turf football field
  • Updated track facilities for all events
  • 2,500 seat competition gymnasium
  • 600 seat auditorium for concerts, plays and the musical
  • Access to a quadplex baseball/softball facility
  • Access to the city golf course
