As a reminder, the district's Inclement Weather Information has procedures for USD 466 families, and it can be found on our website under the District Information tab, then under the Safe and Secure Schools link. Please refer to this document if you have questions about school cancellations or delays. 

Also, a great resource the district uses when making cancellation or delay decisions is the KanDrive website and mobile application, and we want to pass along this information for all parents making travel decisions for all purposes. The KanDrive program has been recently updated and can provide updated information on road conditions.

We have our eye on a winter storm coming in at the end of the week, so be prepared if we have to alter the school day. The district has not used the new Parent Square program to send a weather related notice, so do not be surprised if you receive more than one message. Weather notices should come to you as an "Alert," but to make sure all intended recipients receive our information, we will send it out as a "pushed post," as well. ​For future cancellations, ​only an "Alert" will be sent.
